when someone says "put a jacket on before you catch a cold."
those people are idiots
a cold is a bacteria that you contract from the air and it goes into your body via an opening [cut or mouth...etc.]
it isn't something that attacks your arms because it notices that you aren't wearing propper protection.
the correct term to use from now on will be...you should put a coat on before you freeze your ass off....
